Baby Steps


I ran home 5 miles yesterday. Go me! To alleviate boredom I did sprint intervals on the mall and then jog/walked the rest of the time. Only took me 3 extra minutes total so I must have been booking it during those sprints!

Today will be a weight-lifting day, will a little hill walking thrown in for some cardio. The problem with yesterday and today though has been HUNGER. And I totally forgot another reason why my weight shot up last weekend (and why I’d be so hungry today) so that’s good that there’s an explanation for all that. I’m still trying to eat within my calories, but it’s tough!

I got some sushi for lunch today and despite it showing up as more calories than I was planning once I inputted into the computer I was hungry soon after! And I had half a wheat bagel with almond butter and milk this morning so I only have about 200 calories left for the day. That’s after adding in the calories I will burn during my workout. So I’m going to make a yogurt smoothie after lifting and hope that water keeps down the cravings. (It’s not doing a good job of that right now but a girl can hope!)

Here’s to hoping some of these crazy hunger pangs are gone tomorrow and I can eat in peace!
